India's ethanol blending roadmap has moved from a policy discussion to an everyday driver concern. E10 was standard for years, E20 is now more visible, and E30 is emerging in conversation as a future step.

E10 means 10% ethanol in petrol. It was the common blend used during the earlier phase of the transition.
E20 means 20% ethanol in petrol. This is the current rollout focus in India and the reason many drivers are increasingly noticing mileage reduction or engine concerns.
E30 means 30% ethanol in petrol. It is still mainly part of future policy and OEM planning talks, but it is already one of the most discussed next-step fuel scenarios in India.
